If you have never seen this, take a minute to examine what's going on (there is a lot to think about!).

The big takeaway for me is:
The numbers are enormous and the spending speed is staggering. Even so, this did not happen overnight. We have been on a bad road for a long, long time. If we stop the irresponsibility, how long will it take to get back to even? How much sacrifice, for how long, and for how many will be needed? Do we have the spine? The discipline? The moral fortitude?

Only time will tell.
